Vermont hills has two therapy gyms for uniquely created spaces to deliver physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Equipment includes modalities for improved functional performance/mobility and pain management (e.stim, diathermy, US), Omni VR for interactive rehab interventions focused on gait, ROM, strength and balance, AET equipment, parallel bars to facilitate mobility in higher acuity patients, high-low table for exercise and bed mobility simulation, and RET equipment. Some of the programs that we offer are stroke recovery (in partnership with Providence St. Vincent’s), Stand Strong (for high fall risk patients), chronic conditions management training (Implemented often with our OHSU BPCI project with diagnosis such as heart failure, COPD, and diabetes), and cognitive disabilities training with families and caregivers.
