Arbor Post Acute provides medically necessary professional services from the onsite physician, nurses, physical, occupational, and speech therapy. The physician is hands-on in the facility five days a week. The treatment nurses are wound certified. The therapy team also specializes and assists nursing with wound care using diathermy, pain management, ultra-sound, and e-stim. They also work with patients on bio-feedback to help upgrade patients with dysphagia for food and liquid upgrades. The therapy team completes home evaluations on the majority of their patients to help ease transition from facility back to home with success. There is a total of 144 beds.

The rehabilitation team provides Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy and the highly trained therapists work to address every aspect of a patients’ rehabilitation needs. No matter the health needs, the rehabilitation team is ready to help their patients make a successful recovery.

The staff heavily focuses on training for families and caregivers on safety, assessing the mental needs of the patients, and regular training for staff. The therapy gym is always filled with the incredible California sunshine and has a generous amount of space. The facility is currently undergoing a renovation of the gym to include an ADL apartment area and a group treatment area. The two beautifully remodeled gym spaces include state of the art Omni VR, Synchrony, Omniversa for modalities, 2 omnicycles, Rifton walker, stairs, parallel bars, and a mock apartment for discharge planning with accessible environments. Therapists are certified in orthopedics, neurological conditions with 50 years of cumulative years of experience among the therapy staff.
